In 2011 Ford introduced the new Super Duty. While the exterior received some minor changes, the interior was completely redesigned. All seats came with built in airbags as a standard feature. The seat shape changed to a shape more similar to that of the smaller F-150 trucks.
During this generation, for the first time in the history of the Super Duty, Air Conditioned seats were offered as a factory option. The wiring is quite complicated, learn more about how air conditioned seats work here.
Due to the body style not truly changing, all 2011-2016 Super Duty seats can be bolted in to Super Duty Trucks as old as 1999 with little to no modification. Read our how-to on it here
