You can DIY this project and save some cash! In 2-3 hours you can swap all of your seat components to this Power Seat Frame, giving you the guarantee that the upholstery, wire harness, and airbag are a perfect match, because they are the original parts from your manual GM Drivers seat. The only wires you are adding are a two wire, 12 volt power and ground from the fuse panel.

If you are not the do-it-yourself type and don't have "A Guy"

We suggest that you contact any Reputable Car Upholstery Shop in your area to complete the transformation of a manual seat to a powered seat. Note that some Upholstery shops will not deal with adding the 12 volt power wires to the power seat conversion kit frame. The Reputable Upholsters who work with Custom Seat Builds will deal with adding power. However any of your Local Car Audio Shops will get the positive and negative 12volt wires installed under your seat for your new Power Conversion Kit. The conversion kits will require 12 gauge wire and a 20 to 30 amp circuit. Most of our customers or their shops are using inline slow blow circuit breaker to get power wire from the main fuse panel to underneath the seat.

Surface finish of the frame is painted Black to resist rust. The power Lumbar Switch and side trim panels style or condition may vary.  All wire connections will be marked to make it easier for the do-it-your-selfer or your Installation Shop. Our wire harness is specially designed to power all the functions of the seat motors only. Your original wire harness will be used for the airbag and the female seat belt receptor functions and plugs back in to your truck. This guarantees no compatibility issues.

If you have a newer 2025 or 2026 Silverado or Sierra you will have the option to get a brand new Powered side trim panel for an extra $65.00. This will be discussed during Our Fitment Call.

All motors are tested multiple times during our build process and all relevant areas are lubricated with white grease.

• I bought a base-model GM work truck without power seats. Can I actually upgrade to a full power seat?

• Yes. Many truck owners opt for the base model to save money on fleet or work packages, only to regret missing out on simple daily comfort. Our conversion kits let you easily add full power capabilities to your GM truck without computer compatibility issues.

• Will adding a power seat Conversion Kit trigger an airbag light or code on my newer GM truck?

• No. Because you transfer your original factory manual wire harness and seat belt receptor, and air bag onto our power frame, your truck's computer thinks the factory setup is completely untouched. Your airbag system and BCM remain totally happy, meaning zero dash lights or error codes.

• Will this mess up my truck's CAN bus system or blow fuses?

• Not at all. The power mechanism runs on a completely isolated 12-volt circuit wired directly to the battery or an auxiliary fuse block. It completely bypasses the CAN bus system so your vehicle's sensitive onboard computers never detect it, keeping everything safe and compatible.

• Are these cheap aftermarket frames or genuine factory equipment?

• These are genuine General Motors OEM factory frames. They are original equipment built to exact factory safety standards, structural and electrical specifications. This insures a bulletproof, seamless bolt-in fit using your truck's original mounting points.

• Do I have to cut anything or modify my truck's interior?

• No cutting or permanent modifications are required. The frame bolts straight into your truck's factory floor pan holes, and you reuse your existing factory foam, upholstery, safety components, and headrests so your interior keeps its original look.

• How hard is the installation? Most DIYers with basic tools can knock out the component and material transfer in an afternoon, and any local car audio shop can easily run the isolated 12-volt power and ground wire under the seat if your not comfortable doing it yourself.

• Can I get a matching power conversion kit for the passenger side?

• Absolutely. Because as every truck owner knows, keeping your co-pilot comfortable is a priority especially your better half.
