Preventing Theft
The best way to prevent theft is to make these easy-removal seats much less easy to remove. There are a couple different ways to do this.
Irving PD recommends locking your third row seats in with a bike or gun lock. This works fine however it doesn't provide much of a deterrent. Aftermarket companies such as StayPut offer a convenient solution that not only is visible from the rear window to act as a deterrent, but it's also removable with your ignition key!
